The most common of the series is the DC-16A, a standard gun with virtually no enhancements other than the ones made in the factory. Still a superb weapon, the DC-16A is a step above the slightly older " '15 series".

A bit more unusual yet increasingly popular is the DC-16B, which comes with a hand grip and modifications to allow a larger magazine of ammunition. It is one of the more common sights among the soldiers of the famous "Fett's Battalion".

Rarer still, is the DC-16C. Although the "C" lacks the added comfort of the DC-16B's hand grip, the "C" model of the rifle uses a modified barrel with a sound suppression system for stealth and secrecy. However, despite this feature, many troopers, including covert operatives, still prefer the DC-16B over any other military assault rifle.
